Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Assistant to support the construction and management of real estate properties. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the construction process, manage onsite purchases, and handle various property management tasks to ensure the successful completion and maintenance of properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Construction Management Support: Assist in monitoring and managing the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and budget updates. 2. Onsite Purchases and Procurement: Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, and supplies as required for the project. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms. Ensure timely delivery of materials to the construction site and verify their quality and quantity. Maintain an inventory of materials and track expenses related to onsite purchases. 3. Property Management Tasks: Assist in managing properties under construction or completed, including coordinating maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Liaise with tenants, property owners, and service providers to address any issues or concerns. Prepare and maintain property-related documentation, such as leases, contracts, and inspection reports. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. 4. Administrative and Reporting Duties: Prepare and update project schedules, budgets, and reports for management review. Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and approvals for construction and property management activities. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls related to property and construction matters. Maintain organized files and records for all property-related activities.
