Job Title: Category Manager Apple Products Company: Vijay Sales (India) Pvt Ltd. Location: Head Office, Jogeshwari, Mumbai Job Summary: We are seeking a Category Manager – Apple Products to lead and drive the Apple product category at Vijay Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales growth, stock management, pricing strategies, and stakeholder coordination to ensure seamless operations and category performance. Key Responsibilities: Category Strategy & Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, revenue, and profitability for Apple products. Monitor and achieve sales targets while identifying growth opportunities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product positioning and promotions . Inventory & Stock Management: Ensure optimal stock levels by analyzing demand forecasts and coordinating with procurement teams. Manage stock allocation across branches and online channels . Oversee product logistics and supply chain efficiency . Market & Sales Analytics: Analyse sales trends, consumer demand, and competitive positioning . Provide actionable insights to enhance sales performance and category expansion . Maintain comprehensive MIS reports on stocks, sales, and trends . Pricing & Promotions Management: Define pricing strategies, offers, and promotional schemes in coordination with the marketing and sales teams. communicate pricing and promotions to branch managers and sales teams. Stakeholder Coordination & Vendor Management: Work closely with Apple and internal teams to align on product launches, strategies, and offers. Coordinate with branches and sales teams for smooth execution of promotions and product availability. Ensure timely follow-ups on purchase orders and payment realization . Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in category management, sales, or product management (preferably in consumer electronics or Apple products). Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking . Expertise in sales forecasting and inventory management . Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and data analysis . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
