Job Description

Could you be the full-time Process Industrial Quality Manager in SriCity, Andhra Pradesh were looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and quality assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and resilient teammates. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring the compliance of products and parts delivered by Alstom facilities. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Industrial, Testing, Supply Chain, Project Quality), driving continuous improvement and quality defect prevention, and much more. Youll specifically take care of conducting inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures, but also leading the team of inspectors and managing customer relationships in the rolling stock domain. Well look to you for: Encouraging and promoting quality criteria to Production Performing inspections and contributing to site improvement actions Supporting new product launches to ensure supplier quality standards are met Collating and evaluating quality data for process improvement opportunities Functionally managing the team of inspectors and quality incident reporting Developing rigorous control plans for rolling stock inspection Driving a Right First Time culture to develop continuous improvement and preventive actions All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, metro or rolling stock experience is advantageous Knowledge of welding inspection, NDT qualifications, and quality tools (8D, PFMEA, SPC) Familiarity with ISO 9001-2015 standards A Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is preferred Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word Strong collaborative, persuasive, and resilient qualities Fluency in English and team management skills Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
