This includes managing day-to-day operations, supervising facilities staff, and coordinating maintenance and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of buildings, classrooms, grounds, and amenities. Staff Supervision: Manage a team of maintenance, custodial, and support staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and coordinate regular preventive maintenance and repairs for all campus facilities. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the campus complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Vendor Management: Liaise with external contractors and service providers for specialized services (e.g., plumbing, electrical, cleaning). Event Support: Provide logistical support for events and functions, ensuring the required spaces and facilities are available. Emergency Response: Respond to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues promptly. Sustainability Initiatives: Implement energy-saving and sustainability practices to reduce the institution’s environmental impact. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, Hotel management, business administration, or a related field. Proven experience in facilities or property management, preferably in an educational institution. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
