Job Description: We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our team as a Node.js Developer with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing robust backend applications using Node.js, while also playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure with Terraform. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bridging the gap between development and operations. Responsibilities: Node.js Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend APIs and services using Node.js. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug applications. DevOps (CI/CD & Infrastructure): Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for various applications, ensuring seamless and efficient software delivery. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform. Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance. Implement and maintain version control systems (Git). Continuously research and introduce new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity. Ensure security best practices are integrated into both development and DevOps processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: Node.js Development: Proven experience in developing backend applications using Node.js and frameworks like React JS, Express.js, NestJS, etc. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and promises. Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL - MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Familiarity with RESTful APIs. DevOps: Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline). Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform. Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in scripting languages (Git-Bash, Python). General: Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Good to Have- Automation Testing Knowledge and experience with automation testing frameworks and methodologies (Jest, Mocha, Cypress for Node.js; Selenium, Playwright for general automation).
