Description
Network Support Engineer This is a permanant WFH opportunity Responsibilities: Provide remote technical support to Teksalah customers. Take ownership of reported customer issues and drive them to resolution. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve technical problems. Deliver prompt and accurate feedback to customers. Document technical knowledge through knowledge base articles and tech notes. Proactively develop solutions and workarounds for customers. Coordinate coverage for assigned support cases when out of office. Required Personal Skills: Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Experience in providing remote technical support. Excellent verbal, non-verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills for effective customer relations. Ability to quickly understand customer environments and third-party products to extend functionality and meet evolving requirements. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate to define and resolve issues effectively. Ability to execute network-related project tasks with minimal supervision. Required Technical Skills: Ability to quickly analyze and respond to security threats. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, switches, and routers. Knowledge of network security management, firewalls, and security protocols. Hands-on expertise in Cisco Routing (NAT, VPN, MPLS, PBR) and Cisco Switching (Access Lists, Inter-VLAN routing, STP, VTP). Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (Fortinet / PaloAlto). Proficiency in configuring and establishing internet connectivity on firewalls. Experience in configuring Unified Threat Management (UTM) profiles (Web, Application, IPS) for FortiGate / Palo Alto firewall policies. Experience in configuring VPNs (Site-to-Site, Dial-up, etc) between firewalls. Experience handling vendor TAC tickets/calls and assisting customers in resolving technical issues. Knowledge of security threat mitigation at the firewall level, including attack patterns and DNS-specific attacks. Hands-on experience with wireless access points such as FortiAP, Aruba, or Meraki. Proficiency in configuring wireless technologies, including LDAP integration and captive portals. Preferred working knowledge of Palo Alto and FortiGate switches. Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark,etc. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Certifications: CCNA (Mandatory) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline (preferred). Additional certifications in Next-Generation Firewalls and Azure will be an advantage.
