Network Infrastructure Engineer – Cisco to HPE Aruba Migration

Location: Noida Experience: 4–7 Years Mode: Hybrid Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Assessment: Evaluate existing LAN setups (Cisco-based) across global offices for migration readiness to HPE Aruba. Network Planning: Collaborate with network teams to define migration strategies ensuring service continuity and performance optimization. Migration Execution: Lead and support the transition from Cisco switches/wireless systems to HPE Aruba with a focus on configuration, security, and performance. Technical Support: Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting during and post-migration for both HPE Aruba and Cisco environments. Documentation: Develop and maintain migration plans, network diagrams, and comprehensive post-migration documentation. Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with IT, security, and facilities teams, acting as the primary technical contact for LAN and wireless network matters. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Experience: 4–7 years in configuring, managing, and migrating networks involving HPE Aruba and Cisco switches/wireless. Certifications: HPE Aruba Certified Switching Expert (ACSE) – Preferred Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent – Preferred Migration Expertise: Proven history of end-to-end Cisco to Aruba migration projects. Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, wireless technologies, and network performance tuning. Troubleshooting: Skilled with network analysis tools and diagnostic techniques. Preferred Qualifications Experience in both wired and wireless infrastructure design and deployment. Knowledge of network security best practices. Familiarity with HPE Aruba/Cisco network monitoring tools. Key Personal Attributes Proactive and self-driven.
