Firmware Project Manager Your job will responsible for the management of the new product development programs and ensure all projects are executed according to agreed metrics and processes. You will be responsible for maintaining agreed GM. You will be an integral part of executing the roadmap for the future of the business and you are expected to provide strong leadership in managing interrelated projects and programs to ensure successful delivery. Strong project management and excellent organizational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization. We expect excellent verbal and written communication abilities since you will be communicating with overseas clients and in between many layers in the company Role & responsibilities Planning and executing projects in accordance with the defined execution model. A hands-on, collaborative approach to managing a project. Be a visible and active part of the team. Prepare project development budgets including prototypes, samples, outside services, etc. Includes capital plans and Capital Authorization Requests. Develop control systems to monitor project progress and develop corrective actions to keep projects on track. Reporting to the PMO and presenting to management steering committee meetings. Employ negotiating skills to resolve intra and inter team conflicts. Develop and maintain project performance metrics including the publishing of reports and corrective action summaries. Updating budget with cost, used time and resources with support from the project controller if needed. Ongoing risk management evaluating the risk and taking the necessary actions. Work with an Agile and Waterfall Development Team. Involve in Proposal activities for new prospects and able to provide technical approach, effort and schedule estimate Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree or equivalent with overall experience of 12 years and minimum of 4 years of Project Management experience. Experience running Firmware projects is required. This includes managing a project through requirement, design, coding, and unit testing and compliance. Experience running projects with mechanical engineering and managing 3rd party suppliers for local board builds and mechanical fabrication. Experience managing an embedded firmware team running. Being able to report the status from Jira on progress, dependencies and etc. Develop Gantt schedules using MS-Project. Includes development of a WBS, resource allocations, costs, critical path generation and project tracking. Nice to have Valid PMP certification.

Write manual test cases and execute them. Automation of test cases for new feature testing will be an added advantage. Collaborate with the Development team for ease of use and debuggability Participate in requirements, functional, and design aspects of new features Write comprehensive test plans for customer deployments Utilize test frameworks for automation Troubleshoot and debug in Linux and Windows environments Strong domain experience in Storage Domain (NAS) Experience in test automation using test frameworks (Python) will be desired. Ability to write and execute manual tests for complex enterprise software. Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging in Linux or Windows environments Bachelor in Computer Science or related field with 2-5 years of experience Prior experience with NFS and SMB protocols Familiarity with Data Center technologies (Storage (NAS), Networking, Virtualization) Experience with Microsoft technologies like Active Directory and DNS Familiarity with Distributed system concepts, HA and Clustered environments

Develop and implement test strategies for Software-as-a-Service offering in hybrid cloud environments Create automated tests and tools to ensure release qualification Simulate and test large-scale customer scenarios Find and track bugs, providing RCA and assisting with closure Collaborate with top-notch engineers to influence release quality Stay up-to-date with latest datacenter and cloud technologies Work with computing/storage/networking services of Azure and AWS Strong knowledge of operating systems and TCP-IP protocols Strong automation skills using Python Experience with computing/storage/networking services of Azure and AWS Software development or test automation experience in Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java Strong understanding of operating systems Knowledge of TCP-IP Suite of protocols Prior experience with large-scale system testing Understanding of virtualization concepts Ability to debug complex distributed applications
