Marketing Executive (Sales)

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Executive to promote and sell our software product in the Indian market. This individual will be responsible for developing local market strategies, generating leads, converting prospects, and building long-term relationships with customers across industries. Roles & Responsibilities Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, field visits, digital outreach, and networking Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients Convert leads into active customers and maintain a healthy sales pipeline Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for local regions Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Gather client feedback and relay it to the product and support teams Marketing & Branding: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to run local campaigns (email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.) Participate in trade shows, tech events, and exhibitions to showcase the product Reporting & Coordination: Maintain detailed records of marketing and sales activity using CRM tools Provide regular updates on targets, performance metrics, and market feedback to the management Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 2–5 years of experience in software product sales or SaaS marketing Good understanding of local market dynamics in India Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Comfortable with both digital and on-ground marketing approaches Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently Familiarity with IT related work is a plus Willingness to travel locally as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year Ability to commute/relocate: Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: total work: 3 years (Preferred) Language: English fluently (Required) Work Location: In person
