Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Academic Counsellor (L2 level) who will play a crucial role in guiding students through their study abroad journey via 1-on-1 video counselling sessions. This is a consultative role requiring high empathy, clear communication, and the ability to match student aspirations with the right international opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct personalised video counselling sessions with students to understand their career goals, academic background, and preferences. Recommend suitable countries, universities, and programs based on student profiles. Maintain detailed call notes and student records using CRM. Collaborate with Pre-Sales Executives for a smooth handoff and better student engagement. Follow up with interested students and assist them through the decision-making process. Performance Expectations: Minimum 4 confirmed video counselling sessions per day 2.5+ hours of video talk-time daily High conversion ratio from video call to application interest Requirements: 1+ year of experience in academic counselling/EdTech/career advisory roles Excellent Malayalam and English communication skills Confident on video calls; ability to build rapport quickly Laptop, smartphone & stable Wi-Fi connection Strong listening and consultative selling approach
