The SCM role interacts with the magazine production teams, transportation vendors, print manufacturing personnel, national retail distribution and wholesale distribution partners, United States Postal System operations personnel and other production group employees on a regular basis. Primary responsibilities: 1. Creating distribution plans for the Weekly magazine titles 2. Managing weekly plant production schedule to meet delivery requirements 3. Managing transportation vendors including negotiating rates, service levels and approving invoices. 4. Reporting / resolving issues with USPS deliveries and operations 5. Identifying cost savings through routing schemes, alternative carriers, load planning, and postal entry point changes, etc. 6. Identifying and implementing distribution plans that improve newsstand and subscriber delivery timeliness 7. Approving Carrier invoices & clients invoicing 8. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and other teams to streamline our deployment pipelines, improve scalability, and enhance reliability. Primary Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions using Kubernetes (K8S) for container orchestration and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC). Contribute to IaC testing framework, IaC testing approach and the process Managing infrastructure changes in internal and production envs to make sure they meet the resiliency expectations.
