Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Insurance Claim Specialist to manage accident-related insurance claims for our fleet of electric taxis. The role involves coordinating with insurance companies, surveyors, workshops, and internal teams to ensure timely claim filing, documentation, and settlement. The specialist will be responsible for end-to-end handling of motor insurance claims—from incident reporting to claim closure. Key Responsibilities: Act as the single point of contact for all vehicle insurance claims across the fleet. Register claims promptly with the insurer after any vehicle accident or damage. Coordinate with drivers, hub managers, and operations teams to gather required incident details. Ensure timely submission of all necessary claim documentation (FIR, driver statement, vehicle papers, photos, etc.). Liaise with insurance companies, surveyors, and workshops for inspections, approvals, and repairs. Follow up regularly with insurers to expedite claim processing and settlement. Maintain accurate records of claim status, documents, and reimbursements in internal systems. Ensure compliance with motor insurance rules and documentation standards under Indian law (IRDAI). Track claim trends and suggest preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents. Work closely with finance and legal teams for settlements and dispute resolution, if any. Requirements: Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in insurance, fleet, or automotive operations. 2–5 years of experience
