Position: I ndustrial Engineer Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu Company: Prospper Exports Industry: Apparel & Fashion Experience: 2–5 years (preferred in garment/textile industry) Employment Type: Full-time | On-site Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Industrial Engineer to optimize our garment production processes. The ideal candidate will focus on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and implementing best practices in line balancing, time-motion studies, and lean manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and improve production workflows to enhance productivity. Conduct time and motion studies to determine labor standards. Optimize line layout and work allocation for better throughput. Implement lean manufacturing and cost-reduction initiatives. Collaborate with production, quality, and planning teams. Monitor daily production targets and suggest improvements. Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions using IE tools. Maintain records and prepare efficiency reports. Requirements: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience in garment manufacturing (preferred). Strong knowledge of garment production processes. Proficient in line balancing, SMV calculation, and productivity analysis. Familiar with IE tools and lean concepts. Good communication and teamwork skills.
