As we rapidly scale from ₹10 crore to ₹100 crore, we need a motivated Recruiter / HR Generalist to join our energetic team and execute the day-to-day HR functions — building strong recruitment pipelines, managing operations, and supporting our vibrant culture. Requirements Why This Role is Exciting for You Work closely with our core leadership team — execute and help build our HR function from the ground up Take full ownership of recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement tasks with strong support Grow your skills and responsibility as the company scales, with potential to lead HR functions in the future Join a young, energetic, and high-performance team driven by ownership, transparency, and impact Play a key role in a startup on a mission to change thousands of lives across Africa and India Your Key Responsibilities & KRAs Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (40%) Manage end-to-end hiring processes: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding Build and maintain talent pipelines via LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and campus outreach Meet monthly hiring targets (e.g., 10 hires/month) with low drop-off (<10%) during onboarding Maintain accurate recruitment data and share timely status updates with leadership HR Operations & Policy Support (30%) Assist in developing and implementing HR policies aligned with our culture and growth needs Coordinate employee onboarding, attendance, leave tracking, and exit formalities with accuracy Support payroll data collection and compliance processes Prepare monthly HR reports on key metrics such as attrition and engagement Employee Engagement & Culture (15%) Support planning and execution of employee engagement and recognition initiatives Help run regular feedback and satisfaction surveys with high participation (>90%) Foster a positive culture aligned with our values of ownership, transparency, and learning Administration & General HR Support (15%) Manage day-to-day office administration and vendor coordination as needed Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries and HR support, responding within 48 hours Assist with training, development, and special HR projects as assigned What You Bring To Us 2+ years of hands-on experience in recruitment and generalist HR roles, preferably in startups or fast-growth companies Strong execution mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse teams Comfortable using HR tools (ATS, HRMS, Google Workspace) and maintaining accurate data Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a dynamic startup environment Passion for contributing to a mission-driven company and startup culture What You'll Gain The opportunity to build and own critical HR functions alongside core leadership Exposure to a fast-growing, bootstrapped, and profitable startup on a mission to scale 10x+ Work in a young, high-energy team culture that values ownership, merit, and impact A chance to make a direct impact on the careers of thousands of students and grow your own career Show more Show less
