HR Generalist

Job Summary: We are looking for an HR Generalist to handle day-to-day HR tasks, support employees, and ensure smooth HR operations. You will work closely with management and staff to create a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Recruitment & Hiring: Post job openings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews. Help with onboarding new employees (paperwork, orientation, training). ✔ Employee Relations: Be a point of contact for employee questions or concerns. Help resolve workplace issues and maintain a positive culture. ✔ Payroll & Benefits: Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration. Answer employee questions about salaries, leaves, and perks. ✔ HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure company follows labor laws and HR best practices. Update HR policies as needed. ✔ Performance Management: Support performance review processes. Help managers with feedback and development plans. ✔ Training & Development: Organize training sessions for employee growth. ✔ HR Records & Reporting: Maintain employee records (attendance, contracts, etc.). Prepare HR reports for management. Requirements: Masters degree in HR or related field. 2+ years of HR experience (preferably in a small-midsize company). Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with HR software (e.g., payroll systems, ATS). Nice to Have: Experience in academic/research support companies. Friendly and approachable personality.
