An HR and Office Manager handles human resources and general office administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations and employee satisfaction. Experience in the recruitment of IT and Financial Services staff is an important requirement of this job. They manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and office logistics. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. HR Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: Posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and ensuring a positive work environment. HR Policies and Procedures: Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Performance Management: Conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and developing employee growth plans. Payroll and Benefits: Administering payroll, managing employee benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Office Management Responsibilities: Office Operations: Managing day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facilities. Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to employees, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. Budget Management: Managing the office budget, including purchasing supplies and equipment. Data Management and Security: Maintaining accurate and secure employee records and other sensitive information. Communication and Coordination: Serving as a point of contact for internal and external communication, ensuring effective coordination between departments. Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment. Key Skills: Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and solve problems effectively is crucial for maintaining a smooth and efficient work environment. Leadership: Strong leadership skills are needed to motivate and guide employees, especially when managing a team of administrative staff. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools is a must.
