A female hostel warden is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a female student hostel, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of residents by enforcing rules, managing disciplinary issues, providing support, and maintaining a positive living environment, often requiring on-site presence and availability around the clock to address emergencies. Key responsibilities may include: Security and Supervision: Monitoring entry and exit points to the hostel, ensuring only authorized individuals access the premises. Conducting regular security checks throughout the hostel. Responding promptly to any security concerns or emergencies. Implementing and enforcing hostel rules and regulations. Resident Welfare: Addressing student concerns and providing support on academic, personal, or health matters. Facilitating communication between residents and relevant authorities Organizing social events and activities to foster a sense of community Discipline Management: Investigating and addressing disciplinary issues according to established procedures Implementing appropriate sanctions for rule violations Maintaining detailed records of disciplinary actions Facility Management: Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of hostel facilities Coordinating repairs and maintenance requests with relevant staff Monitoring food quality and hygiene in the dining area Health and Wellbeing: Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure residents have access to medical assistance when needed Monitoring student health and promoting healthy lifestyle habits Administrative Tasks: Maintaining accurate records of resident information, attendance, and room assignments Preparing reports on hostel operations and incidents for relevant authorities Communicating important information to residents through meetings or notices Required Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and staff Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to handle disciplinary issues and emergencies Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact Commitment to student welfare and creating a supportive living environment Strong organizational skills to manage daily operations and administrative tasks Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Ability to commute/relocate: Bargi, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: total work: 3 years (Preferred) Language: Hindi,English (Preferred) Location: Bargi, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
