Job Description

Location - Gurgaon Role description: We are looking for a Growth Strategy Manager Generics Drugs to drive the expansion and performance of generic medicines across multiple channels at Tata 1mg . This role will focus on identifying and executing growth levers such as market analysis, inventory optimization, marketing, and training strategies to enhance the adoption and availability of generics. The ideal candidate should be data-driven, highly analytical, and cross-functional , with the ability to collaborate across supply chain, category management, product, retail, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies. Key Responsibilities: * Growth & Market Strategy Analyze the market landscape, competition, and demand patterns for generics across different channels (online, offline). Identify growth opportunities by evaluating pricing, product mix, and customer adoption trends Develop strategic initiatives to increase penetration of generics and enhance accessibility. * Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization Work closely with inventory planning, procurement, and supply chain teams to solve stock availability issues. Ensure adequate inventory coverage across all key locations while minimizing wastage. Develop data-driven solutions for optimizing stock replenishment and reducing out-of-stock scenarios. * Marketing & Sales Enablement Collaborate with the marketing team to design targeted campaigns that educate customers on the benefits of generics Drive store-level promotions and digital marketing initiatives to improve generic adoption Partner with the sales team to create data-backed growth plans for different sales channels. * Collaboration with Product & Tech Teams Partner with the product and technology teams to enhance digital discovery, adoption and user experience for generic medicines. Work closely with tech teams to build data dashboards and reporting tools for real-time performance monitoring. * Training & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and implement a structured training strategy for store staff and pharmacists to improve customer awareness of generics. Work with internal stakeholders (Retail, Category, Product, Training, and Operations teams) to ensure effective execution of generics-related initiatives. Regularly track performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience (min 3 Yrs ) in growth strategy, category management, business strategy, or supply chain roles (preferably in healthcare, pharma, or retail). Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making. Understanding of inventory management, sales planning, and product marketing. Ability to work cross-functionally and drive execution across multiple teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and generic medicines (preferred).Role & responsibilities Mandatory Note - Candidate should be from Healthcare company similar to Tata1mg which is dealing with retail and online healthcare business.
