Cloud Architect (AWS / Azure) Person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services on AWS and Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud provisioning, financial operations (FinOps), security best practices, and the latest trends in cloud technology. The Cloud Architect will work closely with stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions align with business objectives and are secure, scalable, and cost-effective. Experience Required: 15 years Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. Develop cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure. Utilize cloud-native services for computing, storage, databases, networking, and AI/ML. Cloud Services and Provisioning: Provision and configure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, databases, and networking. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation tools. Automate cloud provisioning and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Serverless Computing: Designed and implemented serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Azure Functions. Develop serverless applications using Python and other relevant languages. Optimize serverless architectures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. FinOps (Cloud Financial Operations): Implement FinOps practices to optimize cloud spending and improve cost visibility. Monitor and manage cloud costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enforce budgeting and cost management policies. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure cost-effective use of cloud resources. Cloud Security: Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2. Current Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology, such as serverless computing, containerization, and edge computing. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and services to enhance cloud architecture. Promote the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions within the organization. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement cloud solutions. Mentor and guide technical teams on cloud architecture, best practices, and emerging technologies. Participate in architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback. Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation. Define and enforce coding standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud development and operations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or technical program management in a software applications environment Show more Show less
