Job Title: Accounts Executive Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Accounts Manager / Financial Controller Supervises: None Job Summary: The Accounts Executive supports the finance department by maintaining financial records, handling day-to-day accounting operations, processing invoices and payments, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Record and maintain daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts). Handle accounts payable and receivable entries and reconciliations. Prepare and process vendor payments, guest billing, and staff reimbursements. Assist in bank reconciliations and monthly closing procedures. Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records and vouchers. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and accounting standards. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and information. Monitor petty cash usage and reporting. Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing or payment-related queries. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality sector. Strong understanding of accounting principles and hotel finance procedures. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel. Attention to detail and good numerical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Honest, reliable, and organized approach to financial tasks.
