Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and Accountant to join our growing construction and interior design firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and providing essential financial insights that support strategic decision-making. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to the success of project-driven work. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other accounting records. Process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely payment. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage payroll operations and coordinate with HR for accurate record-keeping. Handle tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Coordinate with project managers to track budgets, costs, and forecasts for ongoing projects. Support audits, both internal and external, and respond to information requests. Implement and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting, preferably within construction or project-based industries. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping. Solid communication and organizational skills.
