Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Server Engineer to manage and maintain our organization’s servers and IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure server performance, availability, and security, support incident resolution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux). Monitor server health and performance; troubleshoot issues as they arise. Apply system patches, updates, and security configurations regularly. Manage user access, permissions, and roles via Active Directory or equivalent. Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures. Automate routine tasks using scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Maintain and document server configurations, policies, and procedures. Ensure system compliance with internal and external security standards. Collaborate with the network, cybersecurity, and application teams. Provide on-call support for critical system incidents.
