Senior Production Engineer

Job Description

Title: Lead Engineer- Manufacturing Experience: 6 - 8 years Reporting To: Manufacturing Head Education: B.E - Mechanical Roles & Responsibilities: Managing Production in an ASME U Stamp & IBR approved shop for Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers, WHRB, Special Equipment, etc. Prepare, Implement, control and review production plan- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to Contractors & workers. Manpower Planning- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules Ensuring production operations as per standard operating procedures Monitor quality standards of jobs. Prepare and maintain production reports. Ensure the safe use of equipments and schedule regular maintenance. Coordinate with Quality, Design, Stores & maintenance team to achieve production targets. Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements. Train new workers on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures. Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Work experience as Production Supervisor or similar role in fabrication of Boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, special equipment & structural fabrication. Knowledge of drawing reading First angle method & Third angle method. Knowledge of material required for equipment & structural fabrication.
