Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web apps and e-commerce solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, executing test cases and scenarios, and developing automated tests to ensure the responsiveness and performance of our applications across various platforms and devices. You will work closely with our Business analyst and development teams in identifying and resolving issues, ensuring a seamless user experience and bugfree delivery for all of our projects. Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the e-commerce development industry. Technical Knowledge: Must have proficiency in testing Shopify Stores and web apps, MERN Apps, WordPress Websites, WooCommerce applications, and Web Applications Automation Skills: Must have experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or anyone similar automation framework Responsive Testing: Proven experience in testing responsive web applications across various devices and screen sizes with manual and script-based testing. API Testing: Must have strong experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify even the smallest defects. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Bug Tracking: Proficiency in using bug-tracking tools or documents. Performance Testing Tools: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. Version Control: Not necessarily but good to have knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN. Cross-Browser Testing: Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Responsibilities Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of web applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and responsiveness. Automated Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or any automated testing framework Responsive Testing: Ensure applications are fully responsive and perform optimally across different devices and screen sizes. Bug Tracking Management: Identify, document, and track defects using various bug tracking tools and documents Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications can handle high traffic and usage. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new features and changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
