About Us: Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Power BI Architect to oversee and drive the Power BI strategy, governance, and design for a leading client in the retail domain. This is a highly visible and critical role, serving as the Power BI authority, responsible for platform administration, stakeholder engagement, and promoting best practices across the enterprise reporting landscape. Key Responsibilities : * Active management of Power BI tenant and premium capacities including dataset optimisation and capacity planning. *Ensure GDPR and Security of the platform with relevant teams. *Shape and embed the strategic direction of reporting. *Keep up to date with the latest Power BI features. *Manage certification of datasets and reports. *Act as an SME for all Power BI delivery. *Shape and embed design patterns for Power BI delivery. *Enable self-service reporting in a governed approach. Role Requirements and Qualifications : *10+ years of hands on experience in Power BI. *Act as a critical stakeholder-facing resource, guiding and supporting internal teams through onboarding and adoption of the Power BI platform. *Provide architectural leadership in designing Power BI solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements. *Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards, including Power BI s administrative and security framework. *Working experience in retail domain.
