Please find the below Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maximo Developer with a strong background in IBM Maximo 7.6 , system performance tuning , and utilities industry experience . This role will involve overseeing the development, customization, and optimization of Maximo applications for our utility operations. The successful candidate will lead a team of developers and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure system reliability, scalability, and peak performance. Key Responsibilities: As a Maximo Developer with expertise in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and Maximo Business Objects (MBO), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Maximo environment. Your primary focus will be on integrating Maximo with other enterprise systems using MIF, as well as customizing and extending Maximo functionalities through MBOs. Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Maximo Integration Framework. Configure and manage integration endpoints to ensure seamless communication between Maximo and other systems. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability. Customize and extend Maximo functionalities using Maximo Business Objects. Develop, modify, and maintain MBOs to meet specific business requirements. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into technical specifications. Customize Maximo applications to align with business processes and user requirements. Develop and modify Maximo workflows, automation scripts, and UI components. Plan and execute data migration activities within the Maximo system. Transform and map data to ensure accurate and consistent migration. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for MIF and MBO configurations and customizations. Document integration interfaces, data mappings, and custom code for future reference. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and end-users, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns. Lead the design, development, and customization of Maximo 7.6 for utilities industry processes. Conduct system performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance of Maximo environments. Support as a team of Maximo developers, ensuring project deadlines and deliverables are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, system administrators, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions. Develop and implement integration solutions with other enterprise systems such as ERP, GIS, SCADA, etc. Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and IT security protocols. Perform data migration and upgrades of Maximo environments. Develop reports and dashboards using BIRT or other reporting tools. Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers in Maximo development. Stay up-to-date with Maximo best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in IBM Maximo development with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role. In-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo 7.6 platform and its applications, especially within the utilities sector . Proven expertise in Maximo system performance tuning , troubleshooting, and optimization. Experience with Maximo utilities applications such as asset management, work management, and service requests. Strong understanding of SQL, MIF (Maximo Integration Framework), automation scripting (Python/JavaScript), and Java/J2EE for Maximo customizations. Experience with Maximo upgrades and patching processes. Familiarity with BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) or other reporting solutions for Maximo. Strong knowledge of Maximo configuration, including workflows, escalations, and application designer. Experience with integrating Maximo with external systems (e.g., ERP, GIS, SCADA). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Maximo Developer with a focus on MIF and MBO (experience with Maximo 7.6 is preferred). Strong knowledge of Maximo architecture and data model. Experience in cloud-hosted Maximo environments (e.g., IBM Cloud). Maximo certification (e.g., IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management V7.6) is a plus. Experience with Maximo Asset Management for Utilities (Maximo for Utilities) module is an advantage. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerized environments will be supportive. Proficiency in Java, Jython, and other relevant programming languages. Experience with Maximo application customization, workflow development, and automation scripting. Solid understanding of integration concepts and hands-on experience with MIF. Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
