Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Railway Helper to assist in day-to-day operations, maintenance, and manual labor tasks in support of railway functioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping skilled workers, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting in minor repair work on railway infrastructure, rolling stock, and station premises. Key Responsibilities: Assist fitters, welders, and other technical staff with tools and equipment. Help in loading and unloading railway material and equipment. Support routine maintenance and cleaning of tracks, coaches, and work areas. Carry out basic manual labor such as digging, lifting, and moving items. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear at all times. Work at stations, yards, sheds, or on tracks as required. Report hazards or malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or section in-charge.
