Role Overview: The Head of Operations will be responsible for driving the growth and execution of SBL.com, ensuring operational excellence, strategic partnerships, and customer satisfaction. This role demands expertise in marketplace operations, supply chain management, vendor relations, and technology-driven business scaling. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and execute a scalable operations strategy for both genealogy services and the Indian spiritual marketplace. Identify growth opportunities and drive expansion across India. Work closely with technology, marketing, and product teams to enhance user experience. Implement data-driven decision-making to optimize performance. 2. Vendor & Partner Management Onboard and manage partnerships with religious centers, genealogists, historians, and vendors providing spiritual products and services. Establish a strong supply chain network for spiritual products, religious offerings, and genealogy-related services. Develop vendor onboarding and evaluation processes to ensure quality and reliability. 3. Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization Design and implement streamlined processes for order fulfillment, service delivery, and customer support. Optimize logistics and supply chain operations for timely service and product delivery. Ensure seamless coordination between genealogy experts, religious centers, and customers. 4. Technology & Platform Integration Collaborate with the tech team to enhance platform functionality, automation, and AI-driven recommendations. Ensure smooth integration of genealogy services, temple offerings, and product marketplace within the platform. Monitor platform performance and suggest improvements based on user behavior analytics. 5. Customer Experience & Service Quality Develop a high-standard customer service framework with strong support systems. Address customer queries, complaints, and escalations efficiently. Improve service offerings based on user feedback and market trends. 6. Business Growth & Revenue Generation Identify and implement monetization strategies, including subscription models, transaction fees, and premium services. Drive traffic and engagement through partnerships, marketing initiatives, and targeted campaigns. Explore opportunities for international expansion in the Indian diaspora market. 7. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to genealogy services, religious offerings, and e-commerce. Implement data protection policies to safeguard user privacy and historical records. Mitigate operational risks by establishing strong quality control measures. Qualifications & Skills: 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in e-commerce, genealogy, or spiritual services. Strong background in vendor management, supply chain, and customer experience. Tech-savvy with an understanding of marketplace platforms and digital transformation. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to scale operations and drive business growth.
