Job Title: Counselor Workplace Type: On-Site Location: India Role Responsibilities Provide one-on-one counseling sessions for clients. Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize various therapeutic techniques and interventions. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as necessary. Facilitate group therapy sessions when required. Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care. Prepare and maintain accurate client records and documentation. Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies. Educate clients on coping strategies and tools for personal growth. Attend ongoing training and professional development workshops. Advocate for client needs and connect them with resources. Conduct assessments and evaluations for new clients. Participate in staff meetings and case discussions. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field (required). Master’s degree in counseling or psychology (preferred). Licensed or registered counselor (required). Experience in individual and group counseling (preferred). Strong understanding of mental health disorders. Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of ethical guidelines in counseling. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility in adapting to diverse client needs.
