Application Tester (MERN Stack)

Job Description

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Experience: 1+ Year Employment Type: Full-Time Meru Technosoft Private Limited is looking for a skilled Application Tester to ensure the quality and performance of our MERN Stack applications . The ideal candidate should have experience in manual and automated testing , with a strong understanding of web applications, APIs, and databases . Knowledge of accounting or financial software is a plus! Key Responsibilities: Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for MERN Stack applications. Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla. Test financial transactions, reports, and calculations to ensure accuracy ( Preferred ). Validate frontend UI components developed in React.js . Perform API testing for backend services built with Node.js and Express.js using Postman or similar tools. Test database interactions with MongoDB for data consistency and performance. Work closely with developers to ensure seamless application workflows . Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for software validation. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI testing . Key Skills: Manual & Automated Testing Bug Tracking & Reporting (JIRA, Trello, etc.) Functional, Regression & Integration Testing Testing MERN Stack Applications (React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB) API Testing (Postman, Swagger, REST API Validation) Performance & UI Testing Basic SQL/MongoDB Queries for Data Validation Accounting/Finance Domain Knowledge (Good to have) Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in application/software testing. Experience in testing MERN Stack applications . Strong understanding of software development lifecycle & testing methodologies . Hands-on experience with test case creation and bug tracking tools .
