Job Role : SQL Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Hyderabad, Kochi, Trivandrum About the Role We are seeking a self-driven and highly skilled SQL DBA with .NET development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing database performance, creating and managing stored procedures, and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless database integration within .NET applications. The role demands a proactive mindset, strong programming skills, and excellent communication. Role Summary As a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with .NET development experience, you will act creatively to develop and maintain applications by selecting appropriate technical solutions, optimizing performance, and improving quality. The role involves designing and managing SQL databases, writing stored procedures, supporting .NET integration, and ensuring technical standards and compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. Application Development Develop applications using appropriate design patterns and reusable solutions. Optimize development, maintenance, and performance. Code, debug, test, document, and communicate the development lifecycle stages. 2. Technical Delivery Interpret application/feature/component design specifications and implement accordingly. Select technical options such as reusing or reconfiguring existing components or developing new ones. Validate outcomes with end users and manage solution integration. 3. Coding & Configuration Write clean, efficient code following defined coding standards and templates. Review code written by peers and team members. Define and govern configuration management plans ensuring compliance. 4. Testing Develop and review unit test cases, scenarios, and execution plans. Provide clarifications and support to the testing team. 5. Documentation Create and review templates, checklists, process documents, and test results. Maintain detailed technical documentation throughout the SDLC. 6. Design & Architecture Contribute to HLD, LLD, and SAD documentation. Develop application features, data models, and business components. 7. Project Management Support Manage delivery of modules/user stories. Support estimation and resource planning. Perform defect root cause analysis (RCA) and manage trends proactively. 8. Release Management Execute and monitor release and deployment processes. 9. Domain Expertise Guide developers based on deep domain understanding. Gain and apply relevant domain certifications. 10. Customer Interaction Clarify requirements and provide technical guidance to the team. Conduct product demos and present design options to clients. Interface with customer architects during the design phase. 11. Team Management Set and review FAST goals for self and team. Understand and support team members' aspirations and growth. Ensure team engagement and identify retention risks.
