Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Over 5+ years of experience in the administration and maintenance of MSSQL, PostgresDB, and MySQL database engines. - Strong understanding of DBA administrative tasks and database engine architecture. - Ability to establish robust security measures for databases. - Experience with cloud-based database hosting, preferably on Google-Cloud. - Familiarity with in-memory databases such as Redis and Memcached. - Knowledge of implementing effective monitoring solutions for databases. - Experience in configuring alerts for critical database parameters. - Ability to analyze performance and provide optimization suggestions. - Strong knowledge of post-deployment configurations and best practices. - Experience with automated database installations using configuration management tools like Ansible. - Proficiency in configuring CI/CD pipelines to streamline DBA workflos, will be an advantage. - Knowledge of writing PowerShell scripts for MSSQL administrative tasks. - Experience in database migrations across heterogeneous database engine environments. - Basic knowledge of Linux navigation for MySQL and Postgres deployments. - Experience in disaster recovery solutions and deployments. - Familiarity with load balancing solutions, including replication configurations. - Experience with database backup solutions. - Continuous exploration of new features in the latest or standard database versions. - Maintenance of documentation, including inventory and installation procedures. - Willingness to work in shifts, including participating in the night shift as part of the rotation. - Strong communication skills for client interactions.
