Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with strong expertise in Backend (Node.js, Python), Frontend (React.js), and Database Technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL). The Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers, driving the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems and intuitive frontend interfaces. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in cloud-native architecture, particularly AWS. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend and frontend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend services using Node.js and Python. Ensure seamless integration between frontend (React.js) and backend systems, focusing on performance and security. Design and maintain robust database systems using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other relevant technologies. Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services like Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and API Gateway. Develop and enforce best practices for coding, security, testing, and deployment across all projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and scalability. Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues proactively to maintain high availability and reliability. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance Fynd’s engineering capabilities. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role. Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and React.js. Strong experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and data modeling. Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing on AWS. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Proven experience in managing high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
