Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software releases. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and develop robust testing strategies. Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Type: Full-time Location: Ahmedabad Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and/or mobile applications. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand features and define test strategies. Write clear and concise bug reports and work with developers to resolve issues. Execute test plans and document test results. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies. Continuously improve test coverage, test efficiency, and CI/CD integration. Maintain and enhance automation frameworks. Required Skill & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in QA automation. Hands-on experience with one or more automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium). Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#). Understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
