Description
Job Title: MERN Stack Developer Location: [Your Location / Remote] Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 2-5 Years (Flexible based on skillset) About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on backend development to join our fast-paced and innovative development team. You will primarily be responsible for building robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Node.js, Express.js , and MongoDB , while also integrating and maintaining frontend components as needed. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js · Model and manage complex data structures using MongoDB (with Mongoose) · Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT) · Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, and security · Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices · Integrate third-party services and APIs as required · Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration with React.js · Handle deployment, monitoring, and logging of backend services (using tools like PM2, · Docker, AWS, or Heroku ) · Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies Must-Have Skills · Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js · Hands-on experience with MongoDB and data modeling · Solid understanding of REST APIs , middleware, and error handling · Experience in building secure and scalable web applications · Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming (Promises, · async/await) · Knowledge of authentication strategies (JWT, OAuth2.0) · Familiarity with Git and version control best practices · Understanding of backend performance optimization and caching (Redis is a plus) · Good-to-Have Skills · Basic working knowledge of React.js (or ability to collaborate with frontend developers) Familiarity with Docker , AWS , Nginx , or other deployment tools Experience with unit testing (Jest, Mocha) for backend services Understanding of GraphQL (optional) Show more Show less
