Job Summary: The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical systems and panels. The role includes wiring planning, equipment listing, MCC panel design, project management, and troubleshooting electrical issues. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion within deadlines and compliance with safety Roles & Responsibilities : Wiring Planning : Develop detailed wiring plans and layouts for electrical systems Create and maintain accurate wiring diagrams and schematics Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Equipment Listing : Create and manage a detailed list of electrical equipment and components Ensure listed equipment meets project specifications and standards Provide cost estimates for equipment and materials Support procurement by providing detailed equipment lists and specifications. MCC Panel Design : Design and layout MCC panels, including motor starters and circuit breakers Integrate MCC panels with other control systems for seamless operation Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for MCC panels Oversee testing and commissioning to verify proper functionality. Project Management: Manage electrical design projects from concept to completion. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to project schedules. Monitor and control costs while maintaining quality standards. Collaboration & Communication: Work with mechanical engineers, project managers, and production teams. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams. Document and report project progress to stakeholders. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during design, installation, and commissioning. Implement corrective actions and recommend improvements. Additional Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience. Skills: Electrical Engineering Knowledge, Basic PLC Programming, Wiring and Schematics, Panel Design, Project Management, Troubleshooting, Documentation & Equipment Selection.
