Job Description

Responsibilities and Impact: Bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring alignment between product vision and development execution. Define project scopes and guide the development team in creating cutting-edge solutions that meet client requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and designers, to deliver high-quality software products that align with business objectives. Manage the product backlog, ensuring transparency and clarity for the development team, which enhances efficiency and productivity. Work closely with the Product Lead to prioritize new features and align on product vision, directly influencing the product roadmap. Break down and refine specifications with development teams and business analysts, facilitating effective communication and project execution. Lead requirements gathering sessions and ensure that all requirements are traceable and aligned with business objectives. Contribute to system design, analysing existing systems for improvement and defining requirements for data structures and mathematical models. Provide test scenarios and conduct user acceptance testing, ensuring that releases meet quality standards and user requirements. Support operational teams in customer onboarding and troubleshooting, playing a crucial role in enhancing client satisfaction and product usability. What Were Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 3-6 years experience working as a product owner or Business Analyst or in quality assurance within a software development environment. Understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile tools like JIRA. Basic knowledge of programming (Python, JavaScript), SQL and experience with AWS cloud-based technologies and services. Key Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to challenges, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn. Ability to effectively facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and resolve issues. Strong organizational skills to manage expectations and ensure project deliverables meet business needs. A collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with product owners and the development team to achieve common goals. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the automotive industry, providing valuable insights into market needs. Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts, enhancing the ability to contribute to advanced software solutions. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) to support project management. Proven experience in managing product backlogs and facilitating user acceptance testing.
