Job Description

Role Description : This is a full-time on-site role for a Websphere Administrator located in Mumbai. The Websphere Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting, managing middleware, application servers, specifically WebSphere Application Server, and working with Linux systems. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain server and database configurations - Ensure systems are secure through hardening and patching - Ensure that systems are running at optimal levels by monitoring performance - Ensure that backup policies and procedures are followed - Ensure that disaster recovery policies are in place - Maintain connectivity for WebSphere and Middleware services - Implement backup and disaster recovery technologies - Implement Extended Support for WebSphere - Ensure that systems are running at optimal levels by monitoring performance - Ensure that backup policies and procedures are followed - Ensure that disaster recovery policies are in place - Maintain connectivity for WebSphere and Middleware services - Maintain and monitor WebSphere application servers, middleware servers, databases, and applications - Manage application performance and availability, including capacity planning, capacity tuning, and load - testing. - Configure, maintain, and monitor WebSphere application servers, middleware servers, databases, and applications - Manage operating system and network security, and backup and recovery procedures. - Perform system administration, including routine server maintenance, operating system maintenance, and patch management. - Conduct hardware upgrades, such as purchasing new servers, upgrading memory, and replacing storage devices. - Perform system administration tasks. - Maintain and update test environments to meet business requirements. - Ensure compliance with application, operating system, and data security requirements.
