Job Description

As an SRE Lead Engineer at Torry Harris, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of talented engineers and guiding them in implementing best practices for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will play a critical role in designing and maintaining our infrastructure and automation tools, as well as identifying and resolving any potential issues that may arise. Roles and Responsibilities Leading a team of SRE engineers and providing technical guidance and mentorship. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications and infrastructure. Maintaining monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems to ensure high availability and performance of our services. Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline operational processes and reduce manual efforts. Monitoring and analyzing system performance and reliability, and taking proactive measures to address any potential issues. Participating in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and resolve any critical incidents. In order to excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership skills, as well as extensive experience in software engineering, systems administration, or network engineering. You should also have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Additionally, experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, ServiceNow, RPA tools for automation is highly recommended.
