In yourday to dayroleyou will Design, develop and maintain software development products and platforms, integrate machine learning algorithms into E2E automation pipeline, build up AI applications and UI portal. The platform/infrastructure will be used to automate machine learning strategies/solutions for PayPal global risk management, making sound decisions that balance risk, user experience and financial performance. Develop tools which could be used to reduce human efforts and improve efficiency Look for improvement and innovation opportunities with business impact. Provide a source of high-quality ideas. Guarantee product and code quality by establishing best practices like code review, automatic testing, CI/CD. Collaborate efficiently with software engineers, data scientists and engineering teams across the globe to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain teams products. What do you need to bring- Bachelor s degree in a computer science or engineering field with4+ year professional work experience in a relevant field. OrMaster sdegree with2+ year profession experience or equivalent knowledge. Backend development experience with hands-on expertise in Pythonor extensive experience in developing web applications using React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.) Extensive experience in architecting and developing large-scale backend systems using Python, with strong expertise in algorithm design and database development. Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms. Excellent problem-solving skills - ability to triage and resolve critical tech issues without supervision. Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development Ability to work independently and proficiently on well-defined projects; Focuses primarily on how to achieve overall business objectives of a project with speed and quality
