Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Automation Testing, Core Java, API & UI testing, and CI/CD . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Rest-Assured, JMeter, SQL & Database Testing, and Gherkin-Cucumber (BDD framework) . This role requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java . Perform API testing using Rest-Assured and performance testing using JMeter . Execute SQL queries and perform database testing to validate data integrity. Develop and implement BDD automation frameworks using Gherkin-Cucumber . Work in an Agile development environment , actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Perform CI/CD automation testing and integrate test suites with DevOps pipelines . Troubleshoot test failures , analyze logs, and work closely with developers to resolve defects. Work with Unix/Linux environments , including scripting for automation tasks. Maintain test documentation, reports, and provide continuous improvements to automation strategies. Required Skills & Expertise: Strong coding skills in Core Java for test automation. Hands-on experience with API testing using Rest-Assured . Practical experience with UI automation tools (JMeter, Selenium, etc.) . Expertise in SQL & Database Testing across various databases. Strong experience with BDD frameworks (Gherkin-Cucumber) . Experience working in Agile methodology and test-driven development. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a global team. Self-motivated problem solver with a strong learning mindset . Desired Skills: Unix/Linux knowledge and Shell Scripting experience . Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.). Experience in the financial domain is a plus.
