Role Responsibilities Monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance. Respond to incidents and resolve issues in a timely manner. Provide technical support to users and stakeholders. Analyze production issues and identify root causes. Document incidents, solutions, and procedures for future reference. Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements. Participate in regular system health checks and maintenance. Develop and execute scripts for automation tasks. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in production databases. Assist in the deployment and configuration of applications. Train team members and users on new systems and processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of production support best practices. Develop reports and analyze trends related to incident resolution. Create and maintain operational documentation. Participate in on-call support rotations as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2+ years of experience in production support or IT support roles. Strong understanding of database management systems. Experience with incident management tools. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell. Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
