Production Manager

Job Description

Core Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. Coordinate with design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely production. Team Management: Supervise and lead production staff and line workers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality assurance protocols. Ensure finished goods meet company and customer standards. Inventory & Resource Management: Monitor usage of raw materials and manage stock levels. Optimize resource allocation to reduce waste and cost. Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Analyze production costs and implement measures to improve efficiency. Reduce downtime and improve productivity through lean processes. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all production machinery is well-maintained and serviced. Coordinate with maintenance teams to prevent equipment breakdowns. Compliance & Safety: Ensure the production unit follows all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Conduct training and regular audits to maintain compliance. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly production reports. Maintain records of production output, quality checks, and material usage. Coordination Across Departments: Work closely with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams. Ensure smooth workflow from order intake to product delivery.
