Purpose of this Role The purpose of a preschool teacher as a profession is to provide early childhood education that supports the overall development of young children, typically ages 3 to 5. Preschool teachers play a crucial role in shaping the foundational skills, behaviors, and attitudes that children need for future academic success and personal growth. Here are some key aspects of their role: Development of Social Skills: Preschool teachers help children learn how to interact with others, share, take turns, and develop empathy. These social skills are fundamental for building healthy relationships.
