Job Summary: PureIONIA is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced Senior Sales Head to lead and manage our entire Pan-India sales operations. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of building, motivating, and driving high-performing sales teams to achieve aggressive sales targets and expand market share across diverse Indian markets. This role is critical in scaling our brand presence and revenue growth nationwide, particularly in the rapidly evolving wellness and health appliance sector. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive Pan-India sales strategies aligned with PureIONIA's overall business objectives, revenue goals, and market expansion plans. Identify new market opportunities, segments, and channels for growth, focusing on both B2C and B2B sales (including distributors, CNF, dealers, and corporate clients). Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to continuously adapt and optimize sales approaches. Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets for regions, teams, and individuals, ensuring clear KPIs are established and monitored. Team Management & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing Pan-India sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide strong leadership, coaching, and support to regional sales managers and executives, empowering them to meet and exceed their targets. Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement development programs to enhance team capabilities and product knowledge. Drive motivation and engagement within the sales force through effective incentive programs and recognition. Sales Operations & Process Optimization: Establish robust sales processes, policies, and guidelines for efficient lead generation, conversion, follow-up, and customer relationship management (CRM). Implement and leverage CRM tools effectively to track sales activities, manage pipelines, forecast sales, and generate comprehensive reports. Monitor sales performance closely, analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements across all sales operations. Business Development & Key Account Management: Forge and nurture strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, corporate clients, and other channel partners across India. Lead critical negotiations for large deals and strategic partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless alignment of sales efforts with overall business goals and customer satisfaction. Act as a key point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure their prompt and effective resolution. Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present regular, insightful sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence to the senior management and leadership team. Maintain clear and consistent communication channels across the Pan-India sales team and with other departments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years specifically managing Pan-India sales teams, preferably within the consumer durables, health appliances, FMCG, or water purification industries. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets and driving significant revenue growth in a competitive market. Demonstrated experience in building, scaling, and optimizing distribution networks across India. Exceptional leadership, team management, and motivational skills. Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to travel extensively across India as required.
