Job Title: Manual Test Engineer (Fresher) Location: Hitech City, Hyderabad Experience: Fresher Department: Quality Assurance (QA) About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer (Fresher) to join our QA team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a solid understanding of testing concepts and are eager to contribute to the quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and senior QA professionals to ensure each release meets our high standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: Understand and analyze software requirements and functional specifications Design and execute test cases to validate application functionality Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools Work collaboratively with development teams to understand system features and implementation Participate in various testing phases including smoke, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Learn and contribute to automation testing efforts as needed Stay updated with industry trends and tools in software testing Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of all types of testing concepts including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT In-depth knowledge of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Strong knowledge of programming or scripting language , such as Java, Python, or JavaScript Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) Exposure to automation tools like Selenium is an added advantage Good analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
