Job Description

Roles, responsibilities and requirements To ensure that quality standards and processes are implemented and maintained throughout the manufacturing operations. Ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement are major KPIs. Drive a team of 15-20 people and conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects or non-conformities, and communicating its findings Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, engineering, and supply chain, to develop quality plans and strategies. Implement quality control and assurance processes and procedures. Oversee the implementation of inspection and testing methods, quality control plans, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and take corrective actions as necessary. Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop improvement plans, and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other quality improvement approaches. Lead or support root cause analysis investigations and facilitate corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams & ensure that suppliers meet quality requirements. Establish supplier quality metrics, conduct supplier audits and assessments, and work with suppliers to address quality concerns. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and product returns related to quality issues. Collaborate with customer support teams to gather information, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with ISO 9100D quality standards, regulations, and certifications. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile 8-10 years of experience in quality functions of an Aerospace, Defence industries with graduation or post graduaton or diploma in Mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering Perks and benefits
