Automation Tester

Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our QA team and play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, scripting, API testing, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities You will work closely with development and product teams to identify test scenarios and deliver robust, repeatable automated tests across Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, API, and mobile applications. Conduct regression, functional, integration, and smoke testing using automation. Identify bugs early in the development cycle and assist developers with reproducible test cases. Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. Maintain automation test suites and monitor test results for reliability and performance. Work closely with developers, QA leads, and product managers in Agile/Scrum teams. Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices and standards. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7-10years of experience in software QA with a focus on automation testing. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and test automation frameworks. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal Skills : ISTQB Certification (foundation or advanced). Knowledge of performance testing and basic security testing.
