Senior Test Automation Engineer Bangalore, Karnataka, India We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Global Technology team The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, an effective understanding of software development life cycles, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality in our products You will be responsible for designing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts What you ll be DOING What will your essential responsibilities include? Develop and implement automated test strategies and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and translate them into effective test cases Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas for automation and enhancement Mentor and guide junior test engineers in best practices for test automation and quality assurance Collaborate and Contribute towards Testing Centre of Excellence initiatives Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to test automation Setup and manage the test infrastructure using devops tools such as Dockers, Kubernetes etc Create the test pipelines in CI/CD tools such as Harness, TeamCity You will report to Test & Release COE Lead What you will BRING We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience, with a focus on test automation Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript Experience with CI/CD tools (AzD, Bamboo, Harness, Jenkins, etc) Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, UFT ,Rest Assured etc Experience in the frameworks and build tools such as TestNG, Junit, Cucumber Maven, Gradle Familiarity with JIRA & JIRA X-Ray, Azure, GHE, JFrog/Nexus Artifactory Eagerness to learn and adapt to new test automation technologies and tools of devops based tools such as Docker, Kubernetes OpenShift Experience with cloud services and platforms (e g, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for testing and deployment Desired Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling etc will be an advantage Excellent understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team Adaptable to new test automation strategies, tools, and technologies; comfortable with change Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate test automation goals and influence decisions Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to achieve test automation goals Ability to effectively integrate disparate test automation processes and technologies Proven planning and organizational skills, including workload prioritization and realistic timescales Who WE are AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks For mid-sized companies, multinationals and even some inspirational individuals we don t just provide re/insurance, we reinvent it How?
