Job Description

We are looking for a Assistant Project Manager - Firmware to manage and coordinate firmware development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in embedded systems and firmware development, along with project management skills to ensure timely execution and delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee firmware development projects from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and testing teams, to define project scope and technical requirements. Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders. Assist in resource allocation, timeline planning, and task prioritization. Monitor and report project status, risks, and key milestones to senior management. Work closely with vendors and external partners when required. Support the firmware team in debugging and resolving technical challenges. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in firmware development. Setup a system for documentation and failure analysis Required Skills Qualifications: Bachelors/Master s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in firmware development, preferably in the EV, IoT, or embedded systems industry. Knowledge of C/C++ and microcontroller-based firmware development. Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in EV chargers, power electronics, or automotive embedded systems. Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, LoRaWAN, or MQTT.
